Sunday Funnies

It's Sunday! That means it's time for football and the Sunday Funnies!

Sorry, I have no better introduction than that, lack of sleep and tons of cleaning to do today don't combine for maximum creativity, sorry. If you want creativity, check out these folks because they have it it, in spades!

• My kids now insist on their morning milk in a coffee cup, like mommy (but no coffee because it's disgusting!) which is better than Helene's son, who insists on Beer in his sippy cup. My kids prefer to just swipe the wine of the table and drink it with out asking, as my then 18mo old did at a family party.
• Apparently I am not the only one Searching for the Sandman, Modern Mom is too. I feel it sister! Before pregnancy I was known for talking my bladder into going back to sleep so I wouldn't have to get up. Now that there is a baby dancing on it it doesn't oblige anymore.
• High Heeled Mama tells you The Difference between the first and second child, I remember it well.....new moms take note, it will make your life easier!
• Ahhh resolutions, working out, I am sure Rita is not the only with a Barley Used Gym Membership, I finally cancelled mine after going unused since...oh....May? I finally felt I had a good enough excuse, pregnancy!
• Whispering Writer made a list of People Who Annoy her, wow she is tolerate because a) my list would be much longer and b) if my daughter ate my last peanut butter cup she would be grounded for life, seriously, there are rules for chocolate! And if you have time, check out her Amazon.Com Adventure, UPS employees who don't understand her pleas for help should probably have made her annoying list!
• We all have that moment when we realize there are certain stores we can't shop in anymore because we are no longer younger and hip, (I would like to add that she is way hipper than me because I never would have even been brave enough to venture into such a hip store!) few of us can tell it in such a side splittingly funny way as Barefoot Foodie.
• Mrs. M has written the perfect ad, I will be ripping it off an putting it on Craigslist this week, because who couldn't use a Clone?
• Kelly wrote a post at 5 Minutes for Parenting that I can totally relate to on pregnancy and some if it's symptoms. I'm one of the lucky ones with all of them! Seriously, my heartburn starts the minute that little line shows up.
• I don't know who Pixie Geldof is, but if she is famous enough to get photographed she probably has enough money to not dress like a Muppet. I mean I live in the frozen tundra that is the Midwest and while I will bundle up until I look like the Michelin Man, I'm not sure you could pay me to dress like this.
• WeaselMomma (who is on her way to being famous with her frequent chats with Greta Van Stusteren) posted a great video of how the Weasels entertain themselves.
• MaryMac over at Pajama's and Coffee has been getting herself in trouble this week with talk of Rednecks and F-bombs, if you are not easily offended you will be easily amused.
• Finally head over to the McMommy Chronicles and send her some warmth and love. See she's a southern gal and can't handle a little cold snap, apparently neither can the wildlife and she has a video of iguanas falling out of trees. Maybe we should start a Snuggie drive so we can keep her and her family warm?
