Everyday Joys

Unexpected sleep
Spontaneous giggles, laughs
Little hands to hold

Today's post is prompt is prompt #3 from Mama Kat's Writers Workshop: Write a Haiku that describes what you love about an ordinary day. And couldn't have been done without my dear friend (and English teacher!) K who gave me a lesson on what Haiku was over Facebook! Thanks sweetie!

It's the little hands that get me! I love holding the little hands! My littlest hand to hold at home right now is 8 and I hold on for dear life, knowing that she will let go someday soon. (visiting from Mama Kat's)

This is beautifully simple -explaining little pocket moments with a bottom-less pocket of love ;)

Awww, I love the photo! That is so sweet! My daughter HAS to hold my hand all the time. Sometimes makes typing difficult, but I sure am going to miss that one day!

I apologize that it's taken me so long to return the favor of a visit...but thank you so much for the visit earlier this week.

The haiku is beautiful and so true!

Best haiku ever. Maybe the first one that ever made sense to me too. Nice job.
