While Melissa is on vacation, I'm filling in for her with her "Fab Finds."
Now, as the mom of three little boys, I have to tell you that the finds around here are not always so fabulous.
Like, discovering that my not-quite-2-year-old tried to pour himself a glass of milk....from a completely full gallon of milk....that is now forming a lake in my kitchen.
Or that my boys helped themselves to a bag of marshmallows while I was downstairs getting dressed for the day.
Or boys who have taken the mattresses off their beds and somehow propped them up on the wall and formed some sort of hideout.
I always find interesting things in the bushes below our third-floor deck, since my boys love to pitch things off of it, so I actually just went to take a peek: at least 2 spoons and a fork, a sippy cup, a broken shovel, several orange blocks(not sure why just the orange ones), one of dh's ties, and a library book. (Shhh, don't tell the library! I'll go get it in a minute)
Really, I always find things where they don't belong. And I can't find things when I want them because my boys have run off with them.
But, luckily, I can easily find: boys who are their brothers' best friends, boys who are generous with their hugs and kisses, and boys who love their mama.
Even when mama gets irritated with them and all their messes.
Now, that's a fab find.
