Fab Find Friday: Toy's R Us Grand Opening Celebration

Did you want to be a Toys R Us Kid when you were growing up? Who didn't with those catchy commercials!
Well just because your grown up doesn't mean you can't still be! Okay, you can't be a Toys R Us Kid, they have not fond the fountain of youth. However you CAN be a Toys R Us Mom (dad, grandma, grandpa, super cook aunt who buys too many things for your nieces and nephews)

This summer Toys R Us is opening 50 stores nationwide and they are letting everyone in on the party. You can see if a store is opening by you by visiting the Toys R Us Mom site.

I hear you asking, but what's so Fab about a grand opening? A secret coupon! that's what's so Fab.  You can print a coupon good at your store opening that could be for up to 50% off!

Also, if you are one of the first 100 people at the opening at 9:30 on Friday, you will get a gift bag valued at $100! Grand opening events will also have character appearances and entertainment for the whole family.

So if you're looking for something to do this weekend or you have a ton of summer birthday's get your coupon and have some fun!

There are two stores opening in Illinois This weekend:

Riverview (3330 N. Western Ave)
Downers Grove (1434 Butterfield Rd)

Other IL weekends (can download your coupon 30days before the event)

Niles  (9555 N. Milwaukee) September 17-19

This is a paid  promotional post by Toys R Us. I will receive a $100 gift certificate one of the $100 gift bags. I will be donating both the items to my sons school for use in their annual charity auction.

We didn't live anywhere near a Toys R Us when I was growing up and I wanted to be a Toys R Us kid so badly. Now I hate taking my kids there. Not because it's not awesome, because obviously it is, just because we stay for every and we have to drag them out by their toes when it's time to leave. Sometimes we go for a treat though. Because I'm a super cool mom like that:)

I don't like taking my kids either. Maybe if we had an unlimited supply of funds I would feel differently.

Can I just say that's awesome that you are donating this to your kids school! :) Love that! Took the kids to Toys R Us this past weekend for middle son's birthday - it's rough - I don't really like going there either - with 4 kids - there will never be enough money for all that they want. :) Have a great weekend!
