The Sunday Morning Post

It's a gorgeous Sunday here. Someone flipped the switch (probably Mayor Daley, he controls everything in Chicago) and now it's Fall. I love fall. Football, brisk air, football, changing leaves, college football, chili and soup, more football. It's my favorite season! I am so thrilled to be able to snuggle up under sweaters and blankets and drink hot drinks. I am so thrilled. (I am aware the weather says this is temporary, I choose to ignore anything that is not now, so please don't remind me it will be 85 on Tuesday, I want to enjoy this!)

• Undomestic Diva is where I go when I need a laugh, but this is a great post on being different and teaching your kids to respect other. 
• It was just a little tree (from Buried with Children)
• Lonely is sad, and makes you act like a Donkey. (from Parenting by Dummies)
• My parents treated me like Shell, no sugar ever (well until I had sister they got to eat sugar!) thankfully they didn't lie to me the food!
• Have I mentioned that I like football? This post from McMommy on the differences between football in the North and South, so funny! (I'm totally a Northerner)

\What have I been up to? Well I made a big announcement on Thursday which explains all the talk about bagels. I have a little giveaway going on for cash for groceries and cash for your school. Oh and I launched a hyperlocal site with some friends.
