Christmas Moose

P1000392

Merry Chris-Moose!

What? You don't have a holiday tradition of filling your house with moose?

I admit, I suppose reindeer and Santa are more popular. I'm not one for trends though, we tend to be a little more on the quirky side.

It all started with this little guy:

Oh and his friend:

We got them at the German Market in 2000, or first Christmas "together" (engaged). They were just too cute to pass up. The next year, we got a family for our tree:

Then, as most things do, family caught on and it got a little out of hand:

More come every year, some are cute. Some, well...the push the definition of Moose:

{He's totally a reindeer, it says so on his tag}
We've embraced it. We are a family of Christmas Moose. The kids love it and it's made it more fun. Did your preschooler make you a Christmas Moose?

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!

I love your moose. Or meese? What's the plural for moose anyway?

Merry Christmas. :)

I love it! That is an awesome tradition! If Gray had his way, we'd have a house full of walruses.
