I love coffee. There is only one thing in the world that can make my favorite coffee cup better than when it's filled with fresh hot coffee.
When that coffee cup is filled with a fresh hot brownie, that was made in five minutes, in the microwave. Your welcome.
Mug Brownies
We found this in the Chicago Tribune January 2009, I think the recipe is from here.
Ingredients:
4 Tbs Flour
4 Tbs Sugar
2 Tbs Cocoa
2 Tbs Vegetable oil
2 Tbs Water
1/4 Tsp vanilla
Dash of Salt
Directions:
1. Wisk together (in a nice large coffee mug) dry ingredients
2. Add oil, water, and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
3. Microwave on high for 1 - 1.5 minutes. It should not be quiet set in the center.
4. Cool a couple of minutes before eating. For extra deliciousness top with ice cream and chocolate syrup.
Sorry there is no picture. I always have them at night when there is no light. (Ok, truthfully it's because I inhale it while it's still so hot it burns my mouth, the ice cream is to soothe it)
Enjoy!
