I have always loved photography. While I have the eye for it, the skill is something that has been building slowly. For Christmas I finally got a new camera that would help me take the images I see in my “eye”. So I have been taking lots and lots of pictures*.
However these pictures do me no good sitting on my computer. Sure they dress up my blog posts but at the same time I am surrounded by empty walls. So I vowed to start doing something with all these pictures.
Meet Easy Canvas Prints:
They take your digital image
and turn them into beautiful canvas prints
I really wasn’t sure what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised with how professional looking it was. In fact I had it sitting on my dinning room table when my husband came home and this is what happened:
Husband: What's this?
Me: The canvas print I told you about.
Hubs: Huh? Is that your picture? I mean did you take it?
Me: Yes it’s my picture.
Hubs: And you colored it like that? I mean Wow! This is really good. It looks like Art! It, well it looks like something people would pay for!
Gee thanks hun.
So yeah, it looks great! I love it! The process was so easy and took maybe 10 minutes. I uploaded an image and went through all the steps to choose wrap style and orientation. I had one all the editing and specialized coloring before I uploaded my picture. If you don't have photo software they do offer options including black and white, sepia and re-touching as well as border options.
The only compliant with the process was mostly due to my own lack of time. See I would have preferred a gallery wrap where the image wraps around the sides. But I had already cropped my image to what I wanted. If I had chosen gallery wrap I would have lost most of the image I wanted and I just did not have the time (three kids! summer break! everyone wants something! now!) to go back and re-edit and upload another image.
That being said, I actually like the reverse image wrap a lot better than I thought I would:
See that is the side exposed to the room, and I see it a lot. So now that I have it in my hand I don’t mind it so much! I do wish some details on optimal image size were given (maybe they were and I missed them? screaming kids and all).
The print came out beautifully and I can’t wait to add more pictures up all over my house. Pictures deserve to be out and shared not hidden in a computer!
Want to get your pictures out of the computer and made into beautiful art? Than it’s your lucky day because one reader will get their very own print from Easy Canvas Prints!
Mandatory Entry:
Tell me what picture you would have made into a canvas, your kids? A flower? Landscape?

Two ideas come to mind. My wonderful sweet dog or some matilija poppy. There was a hill side of them where we walk each morning. Love them and my dog.
Wow! That is SO pretty!
I would have the one of my boys on the pier at the lake done. I adore that shot, and I think it would be great wall art. :)

Awesome photos!! :)
My walls are empty too and this looks like a great way to fill them up. Thanks for the inspiration!
I would love to make a canvas out of a photo I have of my dad walking on a dock with my two sons at my sister-in-law's wedding.
I can think of 3 pictures I would have a hard time choosing from for my first one. The first picture would be the one of the mountain scene on my blog header. The second one would be of my children and the third one would be on the sunflower I took. I can't wait to check into the company more! :)
I liked on FB, tweeted and this is my mandatory entry. I would take a picture of my family from a hiking trip and use that. :)
I LOOOOVE this!!! I have seen Canvas Prints all over the place and really want to try them.
I would do a picture of my kiddos. I don't know which one yet, but one of all 4 of the babes.

Love this giveaway. I have a beautiful picture of my children's bare feet that I would love to be made into a canvas! Love.
I have a photo of flowers against a greying worn out fence, that I really like a lot, I'd probably have that one done.
Thanks for a chance to win!
I would do a picture of my toddler. We really could use it! We moved into our new house over a year ago and we don't have a single picture hung on the walls yet! rebekahhoffer at gmail dot com
I just started trying to use our digital camera for more abstract photos. I would love to see one of the pictures I took of our flowering crabapple tree this spring made into a canvas print. It would be so inspiring to keep trying this new endevour.
Thanks for the chance to win!
I would definitely get a canvas of my two girls or the entire family. Would definitely take a few days to find the perfect picture!

SO gorgeous! I've been wanting to fill my walls with more personally-captured photos, but feeling so...*shy* about it. Canvas is beautiful. I want one!

(And if it wasn't clear -- I don't KNOW what I'd have made into the print! It would take some serious considering.)
All of my cousins were in town for my grandma's 90th birthday party a few weeks ago. We took a picture on her front porch that included 4 generations. I would choose this photo to have made into a canvas so I could give it to her as a keepsake.

I would do a family photo that I love.
Picking just one would be so hard! Maybe something from my travels, or a pick of family, or maybe just flowers!
I'd love to get a canvas print of this photo I took of Saint Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh. Your print turned out great!
