Thankful {Bigger Picture Moments}

Welcome to Bigger Picture Moments where we share the harvest of intentional living by capturing a glimpse of the bigger picture through a simple moment. Your moment can be anything, a photo, a poem, a story, however you need to remind yourself to slow down and relish life.
Live. Capture. Share. Encourage.

Simple BPM

Thankful

When stumps become stages, when obstacles become opportunities to try a new trail, when traffic delays turn into rest stops, when the broken down ugly becomes a way back to the beautiful grace, what other response do we have than to pray thanks? - Jo from Mylestones

Being thankful for all the small things, that is what makes up the bigger picture of intentional living. Being Thankful for all things great and small:

The ability to be a little vain
Curious baby fingers and the first leaves of fall:

The hands of a family, dirty and cracked from working together and playing together to build our home and our life.

A man that loves me for my flaws, who gave me the dreams I didn't know I had and who ten years later still makes me laugh.

For the food on our table. Whether plucked from the orchard, our yard or the store, our table is never empty, (and lately never tastier!)
For the two small kitchen, with dirty floors that serves as the warm heart of a home cooking that food and nourishing more than our belles.

For a house whose walls are filled (literally and figuratively) with Love.

Because I am so thankful, for all this and more. Because this quote slapped me upside the head:

There are so many things to be thankful for! I'm looking forward to writing posts in November.

I hope you are having a great trip to Relevant11! (I'm having jealous thoughts right now. :)

So many great photos here. My favorites are the hands (especially the leaf one) and the little foot with the toe pointing off to the side. Oh, so very sweet.

The quote was a knife to the heart. Got it! I will do better today! thanks

I love the pictures! I have so many things to be thankful for, sometimes I just need the reminder.

Great pictures! I love that sweet little hand discovering the leaf; you captured a lot in that moment! And it's definitely a reason to be thankful!

I'm a little {ok a LOT} late in reading blogs, but first of all LOVE the hair and especially LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the glasses. I need new ones and yours might be my inspiration.

Also, TOTALLY saw that quote on Pinterest {aka Time Sucker} and it slapped me across the face too.

And I'm glad you are devoting November to being thankful, because I think in the chaos of everyday we dwell on the negative and what went wrong instead of what went right.

So, what I'm thankful for today...hmmm...for the crisp sunny fall day, the extra time to catch up on blogs, and that in five minutes I'll be home with my boys...Ahhhhh...

Have fun on your travels!
