Christmas Chaos

I didn’t intend to take a bloggy break over the holidays, oh the best laid plans! In the spirit of my usual dealing with stressful would only happen to me things I’ll share it in the form of a ridiculously made up song, to the tune, of 12 days of Christmas....
What my Children Gave to me

6 days before Christmas my children gave to me, a baby who refuses to sleep.

5 days before Christmas my children gave to me, 1 World Feast with which to cook prepare serve and eat and a baby who refuses to sleep.

4 days before Christmas my Children gave to me a husband/father work outage, an electrical fire and a baby who refuses to sleep.

3 days before Christmas my Children gave to me, a husband/father still at work, school party treats to make, a kitchen fire and a baby who refuses to sleep.
2 days before Christmas my children gave me 37 goodie bags made, two parties attended, 5 teachers gifts made and passed, a failed visit to see Santa and a baby who refuses to sleep.
1 day before Christmas my children gave to me, bouncing off the walls with energy and a baby who refuses to sleep.

On the first day of Christmas my children gave to me, a baby up every hour, 2 excited children bouncing off the walls and Wigila with family.

On the second day of Christmas my children gave to me, a baby who refuses to sleep and a fallen down Christmas tree.

On the third day of Christmas my children gave to me, 3 Straight Hours of Sleep!*

Hope your holiday was lovely. I’m going to spend the next few days trying to find my house under all the packages and wrappings!

*we’re focusing on the positive and not the two hours of screaming and crying that followed it.

3 straight hours of sleep was my present too! It's the little things in life, right?
