Dark Sorrow {Just Write}

I wonder how much sorrow one heart can hold
How much loss and pain

How much sadness can one heart bear before it looses faith

How many times must the breathe be stolen
The rug removed from under the feet
The words you dreaded heard
Before its too much

Too much pain
sadness
sorrow
grief

How much sorrow can one heart hold before it turns black with decay

Before it can no longer see the light that leads ones out of darkness

Before one says why?

Why always me Lord?

Before one tuns away instead of waiting for an answer.

For Him there is no such thing as too much sorrow
He is there to take that sorrow
that burden
that pain
that grief

If only you have the strength to lift your head
See beyond the darkness
The weight on your chest

To know that you are loved by Him
by me
by so many people.

Now it is dark
So much sorrow
So much pain

Take your time and keep looking up
Until the dark sorrow turns light again.

* written for a friend who is hurting, I hope shes knows she is loved.

It does! It does turn. I promise that it does.

Praise be to the one who turns sorrow into light.

What beautiful words. They are words I have wondered often since my cousin lost her young husband right before Christmas. She has already endured so much heartache and I have often cried out to God, "Isn't it too much???"

This is my first time here so I don't know why you have such sorrow but I am sorry. I will say a prayer for you. I know sorrow and I know feeling like you cannot take one more second of it. I know it. And I am sorry you are feeling it.

It's been dark over here, too.
