The Best Medicine {Bigger Picture Moments}

Everyone needs some girlfriends in their life, near or far no matter. You need friends to bounce ideas off of, to decompress with, and most importantly to laugh. Because laughter really is the best medicine, even if you didn't know you were sick. Sometimes you don't realize how much you need something until after you have it.

This weekend I went to the city of my heart with some soul mates:

 And we ate, and we drank, and we talked and we laughed.

 We acted like school girls running through a mall giggling (okay, peeing in our pants laughing but it's not everyday someone gets eaten by a dress)

  (not the carnivorous dress, but it could be, the horse looks hungry)

 We acted like rock stars for one glorious kids free night.

and sometimes being silly with girlfriends and staying up late and acting like you're ten years younger than you are is exactly what the soul needs. What it needs to come back and fully appreciate the chaos of a summer week with not one single second of downtime.

Because sometimes you need to leave, to remember, and to appreciate,and to revive you.
