PBGirlie: Conference Fashion {Expecting Edition} #BBCChicago

I haven't "worked" while pregnant since my first pregnancy eight years ago. With this being my sixth pregnancy, I'm carrying pretty low. So my preferred style is yoga pants or leggings and big shirts. Not exactly conference chic.

This weekend I am heading to Bloggy Boot Camp Chicago - The brand edition:

I figured I probably need to step up my fashion game. At the same time, as much as I like shopping and getting new clothes {I like it a lot}, with this being my last pregnancy the thought of spending money on more maternity clothes is hard. I mean I want to save that budget for all the new clothes I'll need afterwards!
So I was so thankful that the UK came to my rescue in the form of Seraphine Maternity and Hotter Shoes
Hotter sent me this lovely heels. I love me some heels but being pregnant {and old} my feet and back are not as in love with heels. So the super comfy Hotter insole and the slightly lower chunky heel are perfect for two days of networking:
Light,Chic and Stylish

What do you pair with a not bright red shoe? While one of my mom style icons suggested a wide leg pant. I would have loved to find a nice wide leg gray maternity pant...but with limited time and budget and a need for full panel {see above carrying low} I opted for a new pair of skinny jeans.
BBC Chi Day 1

So this is sort of what I {think} I'm wearing today. My Cardigan is a maternity one and the sequins are on the shoulders. It's dressy enough I think I can rock it through to the dinner reception but the jeans keep it casual enough to make it work all day.

Tomorrow I am going oh so comfy with this:

I will tell you more about this top next week it is so many kinds of awesome. The kind of awesome that is making me consider more kids so I can justify buying another one. Yeah, that good.

Looks cute! :) I'm in the same boat - last pregnancy & not wanting to invest much in maternity clothes.
