However if you live in the Midwest spring really means, day of all seasons. It can be 30 in the morning and 75 in the afternoon. In fact I have been known to not change out my kids winter clothes until May!
I however on the other hand am itching for spring and one of my favorite ways to make my spring looks work for the unpredictable Midwestern spring is with jackets!
I'm not talking about raincoats and parkas (although those are usually needed too!). I'm talking about structured jackets and blazers. I will only refer to them as jackets through because the term blazer makes me think of a 1980's business women in a red jacket with HUGE shoulder pads and white sneakers.
No I'm talking sleek, structured military jackets with lace detail:
Or this cute one that I am currently crushing on:
They keep me warm enough to handle the temperature spikes and crashes and make wearing spring colors and styles possible without freezing!
