One of the former writers at Little Lake County (which I am the creator and editor of) has a super cute Etsy shop that she runs with her mom- Apples and 'Nanas (get it?). When I was about to have PBFin she offered to send me something from her shop. I love supporting friends so of course I said yes. Besides, being the fourth child the kid has very few new things that are just his own.
Whitney had recently posted some items made with this awesome chevron fabric that I knew I had to have. She worked with me on choosing the coordinating color for the minky side and what type of fabric I wanted. Since we didn't know what we were having I was afraid of the red being too masculine (in case we had a girl). Turns out I was wrong on both counts. Check out how awesome the red looked:

Now when it arrived my husband said, “can’t you make that yourself?” (see it’s endemic in our house). Then he looked at it. “WOW!”
Wow was right. the quality was absolutely out of this world. Perfectly straight lines and seems, perfectly pressed corners and the softest fabric, it was perfect.
It’s a receiving size blanket and why it’s too heavy for swaddling it’s perfect for wrapping up in
or using as the backdrop for pictures
(which I am sure I will be doing lots of!). I am so in love with this blanket (which if you follow me on Instagram you have probably seen it a lot!)
I’m so glad Whitney reached out to me because I never would have bought this for myself and it’s become a favorite item that I am sure we will have for years to come.
