Lithograph by Andre Masson - at Modern Masters Exhibit
I see you in my fingerprints.
In everything I touch and do you are there, always with us, always present but unable to be felt.
You fade with time become less visible but you are always there.
A part of me.
Hidden in the whorls are the pieces of you.
I leave an impression of you on everything I touch.
You leave your mark on all that I am and all that I do.
I see you in my fingerprints
A faded silhouette hidden in the grooves.
I see you in their fingerprints left all over.
In colorful imprints on my house and heart I see you.
Sometime unnoticed but always with me.

This aches with tenderness. I adore your vulnerability in this piece, Mel.
