We went apple picking this past weekend. I carried my eight year old on my shoulders. The next day I ran a local forest preserve while e rode his bike.

I do these things because I can, I am able....

My mother didn't have a choice on whether or not she could still pick me up when I was 8 (she couldn't) or if she could carry me on her shoulders (she couldn't). I have been blessed with a body that may not be perfect but is healthy and able.
