If winter could be stomped out I would do it in these boots. I mean they make me feel like a bad a$$ motorcycle mama...in the suburbs in her minivan, but still. I have needed a new black boot for years. My favorite ones had a four inch skinny heel and were 10 years old, they had seen better days and weren't great for snow and ice. I wanted a motorcycle style boot that was still feminine, not big and clunky and not too chains and metal looking. Hotter delivered on that with of course the warmth and comfort I expect from Hotter.
As always they were wearable right out of the box and had great details, like the herringbone interior. They are so warm, which is perfect since I hate socks, even in the winter. It took a little getting used to not having a tight calf on the boot, I was worried about looking like I had chicken legs (I have super skinny ankles) but they don’t.
The heels are solid but give me height and the femininity I wanted without making them slick on the never ending ice and snow. I can carry the baby my bag, my coffee and hold the toddler's hand without worry of slipping and sliding my way to the car. Some mornings being able to wear these boots has gotten me to actually get dressed for the morning run instead of just wearing yoga pants, they are that warm and cozy.
