All the magazines on my doorstep are bursting with pastels, and flowers and spring!
The thermometer says it's 18 degrees.
Well I'm over it. After the longest winter ever I have decided that I am going to buy myself a new spring dress for Easter. My girls get new dresses every year and this year I saved a ton of money getting them from Moxie Jean. So this year I'm going to get the new dress!
I've been in love with ModCloth for awhile, and not just because they use gorgeous real sized models:
But also because they have affordable options and a vintage vibe that I love. So let's peruse the spring pastels together and weigh in on which dress this slightly pudgy mother of 4 can pull off for Easter?
I love this, but I fear that is the I used to be twiggy thin part of my brain. I'm also a little worried it would be too short for Easter. While I agree with the one reviewer that i would look super cute with jeggings and a belt, I don't want to be dressed down while everyone else is dressed up.
Vignette Effect Dress from ModCloth
Another one that may end up being too short but I think that the structure of it would lend itself to a curvier figure.
So I think I have it narrowed down to these two. This one is more my typical style, a fitted structured dress:
Flower Shop Inspiration Dress from ModCloth
This one I think may be the winner,
Tango with Me Maxi Dress in Peach from ModCloth
I have grown to love maxi dresses, especially with little people around. I think the styling of the top will allow me to still nurse and it's both feminine and springy.
So which one is your favorite?
