This month's mission was to accessorize! If you ask my husband he will tel l you that I need no help with that. I have an affinity for big vintage baubles and all things sparkly. However I also have a grabby, teething toddler. In fact due to one toddler or another I have a gallon size ziplock bag in my closet full of broken vintage necklaces and bracelets. Nothing can hold up! So while I love to accessorize on those {very} rare occasions when I don't have a child in tow, with kids I've been mostly plain mom.
Brook happens to live in the perfectly artsy community where she gets to find all the cool stuff, I'm just a tad bit jealous. She introduced me to Made Community a local artisan jewelry company that donates 9% of all purchases to local charities.
I love almost every single piece in their collection. Since I {as I mentioned} have a grabby toddler I was drawn to their bracelets. I love the look of a simple string bracelet and these are dressed up looking a little more adult and a little less like a celebrity cult. They sent me the leather abundance bracelet and a string abundance bracelet. They have quickly become my go to summer accessory!
